#KnockOutTheFat Week in Review

I do so well eating healthy foods during the week but then on the weekend I enjoy myself a little too much. This weekend I went out to dinner Friday night with my family and had pizza. I enjoyed the pizza but did not go overboard in how many pieces I ate which is something I would have done just a few short months ago. On Saturday I went to ChiTown Mom’s Nite Out. I didn’t eat before the event because there was a chef that would be preparing food for us and I left my house at around 3 in the afternoon which is way too early for dinner. I ended up eating way more appetizers than I had planned on because I was starving. The chef did say that the items were healthy (they had lots of veggies in them) but I don’t think they were necessarily low in fat.

Exercise wise I did a lot of indoor walking but nothing outdoors. It was hot and humid outside and I was dripping sweat just walking to the mailbox. This week is supposed to be a little cooler (though still hot) so I hope to get outside and take the kids for more walks. I didn’t use my wii at all this week for exercising but was successful in my “desk workouts”.

Overall, I lost .4 pounds and am down 7 pounds total since the start of this challenge. My BMI is 29.8. I am proud of the progress I am making because this is the most I have ever lost while doing a “challenge”. I still hope to drop 3 pounds in the next few weeks so I need to really focus on eating nothing unhealthy and exercising more than I am. I will let myself have one “cheat” day though for my birthday and have a slice of cake (but a moderate one)!

Also, be on the lookout for some YouTube videos from me this week and next week! I’m going to share just how easy it is to use (and clean) the George Foreman Grill and show you just how much fat using the grill can “knock out” :)

(Disclosure: I am part of the George Foreman Knock Out The Fat Weight Loss Challenge. I am being compensated for participating in this 90-day challenge but all thoughts are my own.)

  1. Wow, you and I really are twins! Another week that we’ve lost the same amount! LOL! We went out to dinner on Friday, and I was the same way. Too many appetizers because I was starving. Oh well. But it’s all about learning to make better choices, and we can’t be perfect all the time, can we?

    have a great week!
