Looking for something special to do as a family this Easter weekend? Why don’t you make Resurrection Rolls? Check out Women Living Well for step by step directions and the story to go along with the rolls. The crescent roll represents the tomb and the marshmallow represents the body of Jesus. When the rolls are done cooking the marshmallows are gone and the “tomb” is empty. Jacob was amazed at this. At only two years old I don’t know how much he understood but I love that we have started an annual tradition that will remind us why we celebrate Easter.
Have you ever made Resurrection Rolls with your children? If so, I’d love to hear about your experience :)
I taught at a private Episcopal Day school and these were on the “menu” as it were. A wonderful idea!
