When I started this blog back in 2008, one of it’s main purposes was to give me a creative outlet and a way to make time for myself. I had just become a mom and spent my days alone with my baby so I needed someone to talk to and my blog connected me with other moms, something I so desperately was looking for. Since I’m now a busy mom with two school-aged boys and a business that keeps me busy, my time is limited. Usually my “me” time is confined to 15 minute or half hour time frames. Because of this, I’ve had to come up with a list of things I can do in short periods of time and I wanted to share a month’s worth of those ideas with you all because I know all moms can use a break right about now.

Take a nap is always at the top of my list too! Except they end up turning into a lot more than 30 minutes…
I just tried the Greek Gods for the first time, I was very impressed. Great flavor options and it was delicious.
The Greek yogurt sounds yummy! I’m a huge Greek yogurt fan. Eating it on “me” time is perfect so I don’t have to share with the kids….or husband!

It’s so important to prioritize time for yourself, even if it’s only for half an hour a day. Those 30 minutes honestly go such a long way. I love these ideas! I’m a big fan of baths and adult coloring books.
