Thanks for visiting me today! I am so excited about this party and all the wonderful friends I will make. (Yes, you will be my friend immediately. I’ve been like that since I was little. Ask my mom. I’d be at the playground and anyone who I played with was automatically “my friend”.)
To introduce myself I thought I would post a list of 10 things you should know about me:
1) Being a mother is the best job I have ever had and also my most challenging.
2) I am madly in love with Sinisa.
3) I try to be organized and I am a huge list maker.
4) My children need to match. Mismatched outfits are one of my biggest pet peeves. Don’t know what I’m gonna do in a few years when they want to pick out their own outfits :0
5) Caffeine is my friend… chocolate, pop, flavored coffee drinks- love them all!
6) I tend to over commit myself and take on more than I can handle.
7) I love to shop but I am super cheap (“frugal” is the new word for it I guess…)
8) I love to read but other than my Bible haven’t read an actual book in a while.
9) I love my extended family and my mommy friends and am so thankful for the support that they give me through all the hard times.
10) Perhaps most of all it’s important for you to know that I believe in God and that Jesus died for me (and you!).

What can you expect to find on my blog?
Posts about my family, stories about my Spiritual walk, my obsession with participating in memes around the blogosphere (gotta show love to my fellow blogging friends), information about Charities that I support, reviews/giveaways, and so much more!
*****************************************************************************************
Want to get to know me better? There are a few ways you could do so:
*Live in the Chicago, IL area? Let’s meetup!
*Do you tweet? Wow! So do I! Come say hi!
*I’ll also be attending Relevant 10 and BlogHer so let me know if you’ll be there, too :)
*****************************************************************************************
Now to the difficult part of perusing the prize list and choosing what items I’d love to win…
Here is my list:
The Grand Prize laptop would be great for Sinisa

Ha ha!! Missmatched outfits drive me INSANE!!! I cannot stand the idea of my kids clothes not matching!! Nice to meet you!!
Joining in the party fun. Good luck with your kids “matching” in the years to come. LOL
dropping by from the philippines :) i joined the blog party too! hope to see you at The Mommy Journey
Wow. Awesome.

The grand prize would be SUPER Duper awesome to win!
A toshiba laptop. Niiiice.

i have 2 blogs. Blogger blog is the MAIN one.
http://oneclutteredbrain.blogspot.com
Vlogging mama is the other one. Both have party posts up. But I think the Blogger blog is better.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know!
Coffee is my life line :) Stopping by for the party. This is my first year and super excited to join!
Great to meet you. I’m a coffee and chocolate addict to, and I know all about overcommitting and taking on way more than I can handle. I am grappling with the idea that there is not time in the day to do all the wonderful things in life that I could do.
Stopping in to say hi from the blog party! You have a beautiful family!
The one thing I agree on is that Jesus did die for you and I! If it weren’t for Him taking all our sins upon Him, I am not sure mothering would be an easy job… too much guilt!
I had to give up caffeine, but miss the stuff. The headaches after I gave it up were horrible!
I want to invite you to join my party Opinions, Thoughts and Everyday Life
Haha, so funny that they have to match.. good luck when they dress themselves!! My son everyday wears his clothes backwards!!!

Hi Alicia! Yes that prize list was so hard to do! lol. It’s good to get to know you a little more through UBP!

Hi! I’m visiting from the UBP! Nice to ‘meet’ you. My kids rarely match – but I try to make sure they do when we leave the house. Off to check out the rest of your blog! Have fun partying.
Hi. Thanks for your visit to my blog. As I read your post, I started laughing – are you my twin? We seem to have everything from 1-10 in common! (with a few tweaks … ie – insert my own husband’s name, etc)

I think I agreed with about 8 of your list of 10, so yes, we must be friends. Especially the one about mismatched outfits and lists – I’ve even been known to put something on a list after it’s complete, just because.
So glad I found your blog. I love it!
I am a huge list maker too….
Blog hopping and having a blast…..so many great blogs….This is a GREAT party.
I have a Fun $100 Gift Basket to give away and all it takes a comment.

Party Post
I like my kids to match too. Getting difficult now with three (2 girls, 1 boy) but I like them to at least coordinate. My 4 year old has caught on to this now and likes to pick outfits for the whole gang. :)
Love your sweet family and blog! Love tweeting with you as well! And I take on more than I can handle all the time – we’ll have to keep each other accountable :)
Hi, Stopping by from UBP 2010 – my first. I don’t have a problem with mismatched clothes, but I can’t stand it when there is a stain that didn’t come out.
Hi! Nice to meet you. I’ll have to look a little more around your blog.
Your family is adorable! Thanks for your comments.
Thanks so much for stopping by my party, your kids are adorable and it’s so great to meet you! I will definitely be at BlogHer this summer, so we should meet up! :)
Visiting from UBP and glad to meet your family. Too funny about matching outfits. Hopefully you will find more time to read one day soon.
Stopping by from the UBP! :-) Have struggled with the clothes-matching thing myself, especially since my girls are identical twins :-p But, it’s starting to get to a point that I’m just happy if they’re wearing clothes :-p
I’m kind of blog-hopping right now, but following you so I can be sure to come back later! :-D

Hi! Just came over from the UBP. Your little guys are so cute! I used to have an obsession with my kids having matching clothes too. Now, as long as they have on CLEAN clothes, I am happy:)
Come on over and see me sometime!
Great to meet you! Came by from the UBP! You have a beautiful family!
One way to get them to match is to give them choices that already match. :D
Nice meeting you! I think that matching outfits are cute. I’m an identical twin and we dressed alike until we were in junior high. It was fun until we developed our own unique tastes.
So glad to meet you!
I really wish I knew what Sinisa was… great blog! So many more to get through!
Feel free to come by my blog and read my Ultimate Blog Party ’10 post! Become a reader & stay informed of upcoming giveaways!
Nice to “meet” you! Thank you for the twitter follow.
Stopping by from the UBP! Nice to meet you and your lovely family.
I think I will have to look into this party! Sounds like fun
Caffeine! YEAH gotta have some : )
If you visit me then please make it on Sundays. If you come during the week you will not like what you see….kids quite possibly wearing mis-matched clothing. Yeah, they don’t call ’em trendy for NOTHIN!
Hey, I’m trying to go FRUGAL. That’s like the new cool thing, right? I want to fit in. Maybe I should hang out with you to get my “frugal” groove on?
Enjoy the party!!!
Hey wonderful blog you have here! I am just stopping in to say hi and party with you!
I would want my kids to match too, if I had more than one, LOL! Just looks better that way!
I am Following you on Twitter now too! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I’m super cheap!! err frugal! too!!
Hope you are having fun at the UBP!

My UBP blog post: How to Make a Tutu blog – hope you will stop by, say hi, and grab a free tutu lesson! :)and I’m hosting Mom Blogger $100 Cash Contest
Thanks for stopping by.
My daughter often does not match. I called it C-Style…and take pictures to remember later.
I decided it wasn’t a battle I needed to win…there are so many other things we have to control, I figured I didn’t need to control her clothes as long as they were weather appropriate.
Thanks for popping by. Not sure if my first comment worked…I don’t see it here…and I goofed cause I made a typo in my name. :-)
I’ll try again.
My daughter often does not match. She has her own style which I take lots of pics of to remember later. I’ve decided to only care if we are going/doing something that it really matters to me that she looks good.
Hi from NY! I’m just dropping in while party hopping on the UBP. It’s fun finding so many new blogs and reading about all the wonderful bloggers. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.
I keep running into you! I found you on the Blog Party and you’re going to Relevant too :). I love memes too, although I haven’t done one in a while.
I added you to my reader!
Hi! I’m a frugal shopper as well. I love the thrill of the hunt! :-) I’m a board member at powerofmoms.com- a great site to help all moms become better. Check it out!
Hi Alicia! So nice to meet you! You have a super cute family. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Hope you’ve been enjoying the UBP!
Stopping from UBP! I have really enjoyed visiting your site and getting to know more about you! I am a frugal mom too.
New follow from UBP. Good luck keeping the kids matching when they start picking out their clothes. I gave up on trying to make them match when my oldest started refusing to wear anything but teal skirt, a pair of pink and white leggings, and a neon rainbow striped shirt.
Caffeine is one of the best friends a girl can have. I am convinced of this. (Dropping by from the UBP!)
Hi and nice to meet you! I’ve followed you on Twitter and FB. Feel free to stop by and visit ($15 GC to Babies R Us/Toys R Us Giveaway). Happy UBP10!

Wow! We seem to have a lot in common! I am a crazy listmaker, think that being a mom is the best job EVER (which is why I’m gonna be a mom again in a few weeks), hate spending money (but I want to shop SO BAD), ok ok, all of 1-10 (except #2… I’d have to change that to Charles… ha ha).
Oh, what I’ve done with my daughter (she’s 18 months) is I will pull out two or three shirts, let her pick one, and then choose the pants and socks to go with. She’s got some control, and not a mismatched outfit! :) I know that will change later, but for now it works!
