Treat Kids To A Frosty This Halloween

It’s Halloween time which means the candy bowls are overflowing, costumes are being bought and the pumpkin patch is busy. On Halloween day, the boys will be bringing little treats to school for their friends. Since many children have allergies, the kids are not allowed to bring any food treats into the classroom.

When I learned about the special Frosty coupon books at Wendy’s® I knew they would be perfect for the kids to bring to school. The books I got were 5 Jr. Frostys for $1. I love these books because ninety cents of every $1 Halloween Coupon Book sold between September 13 – October 31, 2014 will benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption®. This year, Wendy’s® aims to give $10 million to The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption®.

For Lucas, my Kindergartener, I plan on putting the Frosty coupons in goody bags with a Halloween pencil, spider ring and a Halloween coloring pack. Jacob’s class will get the Frosty coupon taped onto a mini water bottle with a Halloween pencil and spider ring.

I hope that, by passing these out, my children’s friends will have the chance to go out with their families and be able to take a break and relax at Wendy’s®. It’s also great knowing that it’s all for a good cause. Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy’s®, established The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption® in 1992 as a non-profit public charity with one primary goal: to help every child in foster care find a loving, permanent family. Thanks to Wendy’s® consumers and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption®, 4,000+ children have found adoptive families.
