Lucas carries this blanket everywhere. He carefully covered up the fireplace area with it, patted it, and then sat down on it and watched TV. Anyone else’s kiddo {with Autism or without} have a lovey they carry everywhere?

oh yes, both my girls have a blankie. CLaire LOVES carrying around her blankie-in the house, in the car. I draw the line at her bringing it in the store (oh my if it got lost-she would be devastated!) Paige likes her blankie but only at nap and bedtimes. Glad to know my kids aren’t the only ones that LOVE their blankies:)
not a blankie, but a bear, Corduroy, which must be taken everyway, no matter the weather or event. And there is only one, so no washing in machine or losing. That bear has been around.
My daughter has a blankie that she carries EVERYWHERE! And it’s huge. Not quite as big as Lucas’s but big…and heavy. When she was learning to walk, she still carried it and tripped over it constantly – still does!
Awwwww, how adorable!!!! My four year old has a blankie she’s fond of, too – it’s baby-sized and at age four seems fairly useless, but is soooo important to her, haha. My older daughter has a plush monster she’s had since she was a toddler – she is now nearly eight and “Tiny” is her bff. I think having such self-soothers is a real blessing, really. Your son is so cute.
