My Little Easter Bunny
(Picture taken at JCPenney Portraits Studio)
Lucas cried all through pictures but I still had to show how adorable he was in his Easter costume. Wholesale Costume Club sells costumes for Halloween but they also sell costumes for children to dress up in all through out the year. I chose the Elite Lil Bunny Infant Costume for Toddler because I had reviewed that brand’s lion costume for Halloween and loved the quality of their costumes. At the portrait studio I got so many complements on how cute he looked and what a great bunny costume it was. I like that the costumes come with footies so when they wear the costume inside they can have the complete animal look from head to toe.
(Disclosure: I received a costume from Wholesale Costume Club but all thoughts are my own.)

Motherhood
Kristen from We Are THAT Family is asking bloggers to post a picture that defines motherhood for us. This picture immediately came to mind:
It’s a picture of Jacob meeting and holding his little brother, Lucas, for the very first time. I still tear up every time I see this picture because other than both their births, it is one of the sweetest memories I have.
When I had Jacob I could never imagine loving anyone as much as I loved him. When I was pregnant I worried that I wouldn’t love this second child as much as I loved my first born. I couldn’t imagine having enough love in my heart and at the time thought that having two children would mean I’d have to love my first child less.
It was in the time after the birth of Lucas, when I looked at his face and especially when I held both children in my arms, that I realized that it was possible to love both of my children with 100% of myself. This picture is a great reminder of that moment.
