I love having holiday themed books to read to my toddler. I noticed while going through her board books that we had a lot of Halloween books and tons of Christmas books but no Thanksgiving holiday books so I went to find some on Amazon. I thought I’d share the ones I found in case other families are looking to add some Thanksgiving books to their little one’s bookshelf, too.

Five Silly Turkeys (Board Book)

Toddlers will love the silly Thanksgiving turkeys in this fun counting book full of silly turkeys doing very silly things!  From twirling on a dance floor to being chased by a bee to tanning in the sun, these are no ordinary Thanksgiving turkeys. This shiny fabric–tabbed book is a holiday treat that is sure to be gobbled up quickly.

Thank You, Omu (Hardcover)

(This one’s not exactly a Thanksgiving book but the themes of Thanksgiving run all throughout this book so I threw it on the list because it has great reviews and I’m trying to add more diversity to my daughter’s bookshelf.)

Everyone in the neighborhood dreams of a taste of Omu’s delicious stew! One by one, they follow their noses toward the scrumptious scent. And one by one, Omu offers a portion of her meal. Soon the pot is empty. Has she been so generous that she has nothing left for herself?
