Last month I talked about how I thought Franchising was an interesting option for those looking to start their own businesses. Today, I wanted to share more about the Supercuts franchise in particular. I learned a lot of interesting things.

Third, services must be performed by a licensed professional so you won’t ever be cutting hair, you will be in charge of running the business instead. This is great to know that you don’t have to be a hairstylist to open up your own franchise. The owner has one job to do and can focus on that.

Next, it’s simple to own a Supercuts. You don’t have a high amount of staff, inventory costs are low and hours are especially reasonable compared to other franchise industries. Many business owners work long hours and have a lot of costs so it’s nice to know that’s not the case with Supercuts.

The last reason is that the Supercuts brand is widely recognized. It’s also backed by national advertising, web and mobile presence so a lot of marketing is done for you without money coming from your pocket.
