#KnockOutTheFat Weekly Update

I’ve noticed my weight yo-yo’ing lately. One week I’ll lose weight, the next I’ll gain, and then I’ll be down the next week. This week I am down. I lost 1.4 pounds since last check-in and so far am down 4.4 pounds since the start of this journey. My BMI is still stuck at 30 and I’d love to see it go down to 29 so I am no longer “obese”. I am SO close to that next goal.

I did pretty well with eating this week though I did have a day (ok maybe two) where I didn’t eat completely healthy. I discovered Wendy’s new berry salad which is so tasty. I turn it into two meals because I think that the salad they sell is too much for one meal. I am trying to figure out how to make it myself so I can grill my own meat on my George Foreman Grill and make salads for half the cost as their’s.

(Disclosure: I am part of the George Foreman Knock Out The Fat Weight Loss Challenge. I am being compensated for participating in this 90-day challenge but all thoughts are my own.)

  1. You can totally do this. Just keep up with the food prep and that salad will be yours! I always do the half salad and potato when I hit Wendy’s. Good luck with the challenge!

  2. Cool on the loss! I am not a big sweet with meat eater but have made the summer salad with mixed greens, strawberries, crumbled feta, and grilled chicken. Good luck on hitting the big 29!

  3. I love wendy’s new salad too, but I am going to try making mine at home too! There is a recipe on bookieboo for a summer salad. It’s similar to wendys but without chicken. I made it with pomegranate vinaigrette.

Congrats on the weight loss so far on your journey!! :) Good luck with the rest!

  4. I love to grill up chicken or flank steak in bulk and then portion it out for salads – makes it so much easier when I’m on the go! I haven’t tried Wendy’s new salad but it sounds DELISH!
