I reviewed the Keurig last month and shared that, while I loved it, I wished it made cold drinks. Imagine my surprise when I was contacted by Keurig about reviewing their “brew over ice” k-cups. Yes, brew over ice which means that I can use my Keurig to make iced drinks! I made one the other day and wanted to share with you all about the yummy iced coffee drink I made.
How to make an iced vanilla coffee drink at home:
Ingredients needed: ice, water, Keurig “brew over ice” k-cup (French Vanilla flavored), Truvia sweetener, and milk
Directions:
1) Use your Keurig machine to brew coffee like normal (use the manual for step-by-step directions). Make sure to choose the 6 or 8 oz. cup choice on your brewer.
2) Put ice in a travel coffee mug (it can be in any cup but I used a travel mug because it has a lid)
3) Pour milk over ice (fill 1/4 of the way up the cup)
4) Add hot coffee
5) Add 2 packets of Truvia sweetner (I love this because it is natural and calorie free. It’s also not gritty like plain sugar.)
6) Put lid on the mug and shake. Pour into a cup of your choice and enjoy! :)
