I was given the opportunity to review a Keurig-Special Edition Brewing System in exchange for sharing my honest opinion about it with you all.
I have to tell you that I was super excited to try it out because of all the great reviews it had received. When it finally showed up on my doorstep the other day I just had to set it up and try it out right away.
Because I was busy with my two little guys, my 14 year old sister, Morgan, set it up for us. The brewer comes with step by step directions so it only took my sister about 10 minutes or so to set up.
Once the Keurig was setup we had to decide what we wanted to try first. The company generously sent me four boxes of their k-cups- two sampler coffee boxes, one box of teas, and one box of Timothy’s white hot chocolate. We both chose to try out the hot chocolate first.
Now for the review:
What I loved- I loved that the Keurig had a LCD screen that told me “ready” and “not ready”. It really made it easy to know when it was ready to use. I also loved the fact that there is no messing with coffee grounds and filters or hot chocolate powders. The Keurig uses K-cups and all you do is pop the K-Cup in and close the lid. There is nothing to open as the Keurig has an internal needle that pokes holes in the K-Cup and lets the water seep through.
What I would change- The only thing that I don’t love is that it doesn’t make cold drinks. If this Keurig made hot drinks AND cold drinks I would be head over heals in love! :)

Love the review. I have been wanting a Keurig for awhile now. We are huge coffee drinkers so I worry that we would have to buy too many pods. What do you think?

I had a Keurig in my room at Montelucia last week. I have to admit… pretty easy to use and LOVED having Starbuck’s in my room so quickly!
I’m becoming a coffee maker but still don’t own a machine. I just use instant. Glad you were able to get something so nice!
I’ve been wanting one of these for quite some time now. I’ve been dropping hints to my girlfriend about every other day as to really wanting one so hopefully I’ll see one of these bad boys under the tree this year!
