This is my weekly “weigh-in” post for the Blog the Weight Away Competition.
I was very nervous to get on the scale today because I only went to the gym one time this past week. I walked on the treadmill at a fast pace for 45 minutes. The boys and I have been sick so I haven’t been able to get to the gym.
I did eat healthier this week though. I snacked less, drank less pop, and made healthier food choices. I ate fast food once when I was out but was proud of myself when I only ordered a jr. cheeseburger at Wendy’s but didn’t get a frosty or fries like I normally would have. I also ate a few cookies that my sister baked but overall I think I did well.
So back to that scale… I lost 2.8 pounds this week :) A lot more than I thought I would lose and definitely a welcome surprise.
