Trendy Looks And Soft Lips From Carmex {Giveaway}

(Disclosure: I received free products from Carmex but all thoughts are my own.)

Every woman has a style of her own. Some are more classic, some are edgier, and some are always showing off the latest trends. I used to be trendier but started to stick with a more classic look as I headed into my mid-twenties and beyond.

Carmex, wanting to help each woman embrace her own unique style, created a Limited Edition collection of lip balms. There are four designs: chic black & white, adventurous leopard print,  trendworthy purple, and a whimsical colorful print. There is a quiz online where you can discover which stick best aligns with your personal style. I took the quiz and got “chic”.

One reader will win the collection of Moisture Plus lip balms

DIY: Chocolate Flavored Lip Balm

This lip balm contains shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil, which are all excellent natural emollients. ·         1 tablespoon vitamin E oil

·         15 chocolate chips

·         1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1) Put all the ingredients into a double boiler on the stove or in a microwavable container.

2) Warm the mixture until it melts. Stir until smooth.

3) Pour the mixture into a lip gloss container and refrigerate until it hardens.

The lip balm Lasts up to 3 months at room temperature. Find other great recipes for DIY spa treatments on the Bonding Over Beauty site here.

Carmex Review and Giveaway

As part of the Carmex blog squad I get to try out new Carmex products. This past month the company sent me three of their newer products. I tried the Carmex Vanilla Click Stick, Carmex Lime Click Stick, and the Carmex Moisture Plus Clear Satin Gloss Finish.

My favorite was the Carmex Vanilla Stick. Vanilla is one of my favorite scents so I loved the smell of it. I like that I feel a little tingle when I put the lip balm on my lips because it seems like I’m feeling my lips heal. My lips looked shiny when I had it on (as opposed to some that make my lips look matte and dull). After a couple days of wearing it I notice that my lips are smoother which is my main reason for wearing the chap stick in the first place. I also liked the Moisture Plus chapstick. I didn’t like the flavor and scent of the Lime one because I’m not a fan of Limes but Sinisa liked it.

Prize package includes:

1 Carmex Lime Twist click stick

1 Carmex Vanilla click stick

1 Carmex Moisture Plus® clear satin gloss finish

1  Picnic blanket
