Making A Goal Board with Elmer’s #canyoutopthis

At the beginning of this year I created goals for myself. I really want to succeed so I made a goal board to display my goals so I can look at them everyday.

To make this board I used:

-Elmer’s Tri-Fold Display Board

-Elmer’s Construction Paper

-Elmer’s Borders

-Elmer’s Letters

-Elmer’s Glue Stick

-Shape stencil

-Marker

-Scissors

-My list of goals for 2011

I currently have this display board in my office. Every day I choose one goal from the board and spend 30 minutes working towards that particular goal. With my goals in place and my goal board in my sight daily I know I will succeed!

And you did it in such a cute and creative way! :)
If I have the money for the supplies I am soooo gonna do this, tis month! If not I will do it next month but I love what you did. It’s awesome!
If you don’t mind sharing I’d love more about how you are doing your goals. Is each one only for 30 minutes or how did you break things down?
I’m not good at goal setting at all and would love to learn how you are accomplshing yours!
    Thanks so much!

    • Thank you! :) I made three goals for each “area” of my life. Some are daily goals (like writing in a day by day memory book for my children) but others are larger goals. For the larger ones I am breaking them down into smaller goals. For example, the “read the whole Bible” goal is not something that can be done in one day, or even one month. By breaking the large goal into smaller chunks, like reading a little daily, I’m able to achieve my larger goal by the end of the year. I spend 30 minutes per day focusing on one of the larger goals as well. Maybe one day I will read for 30 minutes (one of my goals is to read a book monthly) and then the next I will spend calling family members (one goal is to call family more).

      Hope that helps! :)

  2. Wow Girl! That board looks amazing. That must have taken a lot of time. But it’ll be great to have displayed in your office so that you can see it on a daily basis. I love it!
